Happy Aloha Friday!!!  Today's card is another simply sweet card created using The Greeting Farm's Faith-Based stamp line. I just love these. Love how simply and easy this card was to create. Looking forward to making more down the line... 

Well, the weekend is here. It came so quickly!! In less than 4 days, I'll be heading to WA for a short visit with my sis-in-Christ, who is also the mother of my son's girlfriend. Looking forward to hanging out with her, and catching up and praying that we will all have a great time. I'll be posting some pics while I'm up there, since I've got the blogger app on my phone now. So I'm excited about that. 

I think you'd love this stamp line if you are into creating for the Lord, as well as decorating your bible. Take it slow n' use the time that you are creating to spend time with the Lord at the same time. Grow deeper n' draw closer to Jesus!!!

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Wow! Thursday already???  Well, I have a simple card here to share with you, another project created using The Greeting Farm's Faith-Based Stamp Line. This one was a fun one to create. I used the designed stamps that came in the set, and just randomly stamped all over my water color paper. I then stamped the sentiment, and finished off the card. I think it makes a create motivational card to give someone some inspiration to remind them who you are made by. I was made by an awesome God!!!

You Are Loved

Hey there... Happy Wednesday!!! I'll be sharing with you the next couple of days the cards I created using The Greeting Farm's newest Faith-Based Stamp line. This one was created using watercolor paper, then a watercolor wash, then stamped the images, and then colored in. I colored it in with ZIG Watercolor Pens. Looking forward to sharing with you all my bible journaling pages that I created using these stamps as well.

Grad Card and Braided Lei

Yep... it's that time of year... GRADUATIONS and WEDDINGS!!!  Here in the State of Hawaii, we give Lei's as a token of Aloha, Thanks, Love, a gesture of Best Wishes, and Congratulations and Good Luck and Lots of BLESSINGS. This is Hawaii's way of sharing our aloha with each other. I made several leis this year for graduation, but most of them were candy leis.

2 Weeks ago, I attended Campbell High School's graduation. I was so happy to find on the internet what their school colors were. Blue n' Orange. I looked in my bag of grosgrain ribbons, and Yay!! I had these two colors. I quickly weaved/braided this lei together. It was so fast to make. :)

The card was created with a cut out from my Silhouette Cameo 2. :) So quick n' easy. Then the lei... Thanking the Lord for this love of crafts that HE has blessed me with. Not one day that I go on truly appreciating all these gifts HE has blessed me with. Nothing is attainable with HIS hand being in it. Thank You, Lord!!!!

June Farm Fresh Challenge - All About The Boys

Aloha and Happy Monday y'all!!! I hope you had a blessed weekend. I know I did. It was a busy one too. On Saturday, my youngest son n' I just hung out at home n' cruised n' crafted. My hubs went golfing. The weather was kinda gloomy, but good enough for golfing, I guess. We went to church Saturday evening, because my boy had a game on Sunday, so we didn't want to over do it all in one day. We also had a potluck party to go to for our Youth's Pastor. So, that wouldn't been a whole lot of things going on in one day, it was good we split it up.

Anyways, as I've mentioned, our Youth Pastor had a party. It was a going away party. He was going... not leaving the island, but the Lord called him and his ohana out to plant a church. Wowzah!! Praise the Lord. We are sad that he's leaving our church ohana, but excited to see what the Lord has in store for him. So I made him this card....

The thing is... I kinda picked this image because it kinda looks like him. He wears a lot of plaid tops, so I added some stripes to make it look like plaid. He has done so much for our Youth, and his wife was such an awesome supporter of his. We are truly going to miss them both.

I created this card with a Greeting Farm image. I then seen that they are having a challenge in using "boy" stamps. Yay!! This would go perfect for that challenge. You can find n' join the challenge here, if you'd like to do the same! I have a graduation coming up this week Friday, so I'll be working on some graduation cards. :)

On A Roll With Wedding Projects

So yesterday was Friday, and I went over to my neighbor Deverlyn's (who is also my sis-in-Christ) house. We jammed on some of her wedding projects!!! Here are pics of what we worked on....

These are her utensil holders/favors. These "Thank You" tags were made using photoshop elements and then cut on my Silhouette Cameo 2 using the print to cut feature. I'm still learning about this machine and its program, but am loving it so far. Sometimes it acts wonky, but it's still got some stronger features than the other machines that I've used. 

Here is a pic of the utensil holder almost complete. I say almost because there is one piece of it missing.

The other project we worked on was her card box! Her man (soon to be hubby) made this box with his carpentry talents!! So super cool. We just added the bow to add some girly features and the words "Faith, Hope & Love" will also be adhered to the box. Hmmmm.... "Faith, Hope & Love" sure sounds familiar... *wink* *wink*... Thank You, Jesus!!!! 

I used the Bowdabra to make this pretty bow!!! Dev and I had an awesome time talking stories and making crafts together. Although we were outside, the sun wasn't getting much into the garage, and it was breezy weezy here n' there.  Here is a pic of her and I... 

Thanking the Lord for the love of crafting... I don't know how I love this thing so much! Can only be by the Lords love that allows me to create and pray for the receiver of every single project!!! God is Good!!! Thank You, Lord for giving me this opportunity!!! All Glory to God!!!!

Ukulele Center Piece Boxes

Aloha... It's me Jen again... it's been almost a YEAR since posting to this blog. Sorry, I am not dead. Hmmm... that's not what I was trying to say. I had combined the projects from this blog with my other blog - Creating in Faith, Hope & Love, but then I decided to keep my Stampin' Up! projects entirely separate from my other projects. SO - everything that I created with (other than Stampin' Up!) will be found HERE!!!  Please be sure to follow, subscribe, and check back often, cause I'll have lots to share here. :)

Currently, my list of projects is filling up one sheet of paper (or at least it feels like it is, in my head). I am always "right on time" in making these projects, and I'd like to get ahead, if you know what I mean. Anyways, one of the projects I have in my mind to complete very soon, is this wedding I am working on for my neighbor. Her wedding is on July 3rd. But the thing is, I am going on a trip from June 14th - the 27th, so I'll be gone 2 weeks before her wedding. So, I'm trying to PUSH and finish everything that I committed to before I leave. UGH!! The crazy madness that is going on. Feels like I just need to be "Pau" ("finished" in Hawaii's slang) already. But just can't seem to be done. Always something new pops up that needs to be created. I'm not just talking about the wedding, but talking about other projects that needs to get done... graduations, birthdays, showers, baby birthdays.... all kine events... and then there is the daily house chores. LOL!! I know, you probably have the same amount of things to get done, except, maybe even a LONGER list of things.... being that I am a stay at home mom... most people think I have all the time in the world. But, it is what it is... I'm pressing on, and looking towards the goal of JESUS. He gives me the strength, and he guides me to where I need to be, when I need to finish, and what I need to do.

Ok, vent rant is over.

So... one of the things I'm doing for this wedding is making Ukuleles for her center piece. I found a cut on SVGcuts.com that was named "guitar", but really depicts an ukulele, since a guitar has 6 strings, and a uke has only 4 strings. So it worked out perfect!!!  Mary's instructional video is SO easy to follow, and as soon as I was done with one, I found the best way to make them (my way), and jammed from there. I was supposed to make 22 of these. Found out later that I only needed to make 20, but made the extras anyways. :)  The name of the set that this cut came from is called "Vintage Valentines". I already have another order of these. Gasp!! Was hoping to take a break after I'm done with them. But, the Lord directs my path... so I do as HE pleases!!!!

These here are a bunch of them when I was about a little more than half way through. They looked so good in the bin, and it felt so good that I was pumping them out. The cardstock that I used are all from Bazzill Basics. I used Walnut, Mocha Divine and Blank Check colors. All purchased from Scrapbook.com. Something happened after I cut half of these... my eClips started acting up and I ended up purchasing a Silhouette Cameo 2 in the midst of this project. Disappointed that my eClips no longer worked, but thrilled that I was able to try out a new machine. So far, it is working to my advantage.

These here are the last 2 I worked on. Praise the LORD!!! Was so thrilled that I was done. But now I have heart tags that I need to work on and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo2. Will be posting those soon.

Hey, thanks for listening. I hope I have inspired you today with these ukulele's. The groom is a Worship Leader/Minister that I sing with at our bible study. So, it is really a blessing to be a part of this wedding in this way. The Lord brought us together for a reason, not only for this, but for many more that goes deeper into the heart.
