Baby Door Hanger FREEBIE and 50 Envies.....

Hi There!!  Thanks for stopping by!!  Today I have 2 projects to share with you.  1st project is a door hanger that I created for my girlfriend, Tiffany, who recently had a baby shower, and whose baby just arrived last night!!!  Baby boy!!  I made this for her to hang on his door, but it also worked well as a tag!  I actually created the door hanger with a tag cut from Tag, Bags, Boxes and More", using the Design Studio program.  It was really pretty easy.  You could really do this with just about ANY tag cut that any Cricut cartridge has, but if you want to use what I', of course, I have it available for downloading.  I am trying to figure out a way to make a pdf format of my cuts... not too sure just yet, but I hope I can figure it out, so that those of you that don't own a cutting machine, cause easily cut out these shapes.  You will need the following items in order for you to cut this:
  • Cricut Machine and Mat (12x12)
  • Design Studio -or- Gypsy
  • Tags Bags Boxes and More cartridge (to cut door hanger)
  • Create a Critter cartridge (to cut monkey, not necessary to cut door hanger)

The 2nd project I wanted to share was these envies that I cut for an upcoming Women's retreat that I am attending!!!  50 envies total...  I cut, then fold and pasted them to complete them.  The cartridge that I used was Wild Card.  I love it's elegance and how pretty they turned out.  Adding a little teal jewel really completed the look I was aiming for!!

Well, thanks for taking the time to spend it here with me on my blog.  May you have a blessed day in the Lord!!

Oh and if you like my projects that I have shared with you, please "pin" it by clicking on the button below!

Large 5x7 Purse

This purse measures about 5 x 7 x 2. I had so much fun creating it!!

Cartridge used: George (simple with rectangle n' square, so you can use Plantin as well - just need to make your own).

To Make: Cut 2 of the Panels for Purse. Score on score dashes. Flip one, and adhere sides and bottoms. Cut Flap for purse on DSP paper, score on score dashes. Adhere shortest part of the scored flap to the back of your purse. Flowers are crumpled, and then inked. Layered from largest to smallest, and button for embellished look.

To make strap: Cut 2 matching cardstock strips of 1/2" each. Attach together but adjust to length of your liking. Cut 1/4" strip of matching DSP and layer on top of strap. Brads to attach strap to purse.

Frill is from Accent Essentials - you could really us whatever cut you want to, to decorate the front of this purse.

Wild Card Envelopes

Here I used Wild Card together with my Design Studio program to create these 3x3 envelopes for this card set. The Design Studio comes in handy, because I easily re-sized the envelope from all sides to get the correct fit for the cards I created. Image is from Queen Kat Designs, and DSP is 3 Bugs in A Rug.

Have a wonderful day!!

Butterfly Cuts

Hey There...

Made a butterfly cut using the "Happily Ever After" cartridge. That is actually a 1 sided butterfly - I flipped one, and welded them together, making a full butterfly. The cartridge I used is called "Happily Ever After" so if you have that cartridge, you can use my cut file. I have created 2 sizes - 1-1/4" and 1", but you will see how I've placed the butterflies together, and will be able to create different sizes yourself.

Strawberry Candy Holder

Hey There.. my stampin' sisters and I got together this past weekend, and I had them create with the Cricut box, using only 1 side. The Strawberry cut is from the Hello Kitty Greeting cartridge. I embossed the box with Sizzix's dotted folder.

I then added some stickles...

Large Backpack Design

I've finally completed the Large Backpack design that I promised, like forever. I had a great time creating this one. I wanted to have it ready and just in time for my son's Pre-K graduation, so that I could pack them with goodies and give them to his fellow classmates and teachers. I was able to complete the design, cut all 25, and have them ready for today's festivities..... =0) In the small pocket - I inserted a tag to post a lil' message.

Completed Size: 3" x 2" x 5"

Box Similar to Sizzix #2 box, Made with my Cricut Design Studio

Here it is... the box I've promised all of you.... I got the box from my dear friend, Wini at Easter. I took her box apart, and basically created one of my own using the DS program. The bottom part of the box I created differs from the one that Sizzix sells, but nonetheless, it pretty much looks the same....

I made 2 designs, 1 using George, and the other using Plantin.

This is the 1st project I created using my Cricut cut of this box. I made this for my friend Tiffany, who is getting married next month.... I made them as favors....

Here's another creation using the same cut, and HK cartridge! I have this sample featured at J's Knicknacks.
